This battle of the sexes weight chart is based on your age and gender and will show you several types of ideal weight, based on:

  • Robinson Formula ;
  • Miller Formula;
  • Body Mass Index Formula.

These are three simplified linear equations that calculate mean weight for age. The way to calculate for children is as follows:

  • For Infants < 12 months: Weight (kg) = (age in months + 9)/2
  • For Children aged 1-5 years: Weight (kg) = 2 x (age in years + 5)
  • For Children aged 5-14 years: Weight (kg) = 4 x age in years.
