Originally, envelopes served as a means to wrap and send letters, with delivery instructions written on them. In the past, it was called a wrapper, but today it is called an envelope because it encloses a letter.

How do you make small envelopes?

Steps to follow:
  1. Organize one sheet of paper. Make a diamond shape out of the piece of paper you want to be the envelope's exterior. Place it decorative-side down and rotate it.
  2. Three corners should be folded. Make three folds toward the center of the triangle.
  3. The seams need to be glued.
  4. Once the envelope is formed, add the pretty liner using the coordinating piece of decorative paper.
  5. Now your envelope is ready to be paired with a homemade card or a store-bought card that lost its envelope.

In what size do envelopes fit the smallest?

An envelope in the US must be at least 3-1/2-x-5 (inches) in size. Currently, our site offers only 4-bar Envelopes / A-1 Envelopes as the smallest, mailable, size.
