Promotion Offer Declining Letter

Dear Mr. Jalan Tan,

Thank you for extending the offer of a promotion to me. I am honored that my hard work and dedication have been recognized by the company. However, after careful consideration, I regret to inform you that I must decline the promotion offer at this time.

While I appreciate the opportunity for advancement within the company, there are certain personal and professional factors that have influenced my decision. I believe it is important to explain my reasons to give you a better understanding of my situation.

First and foremost, the timing of this promotion offer does not align with my immediate career goals. I have recently embarked on a new personal project that requires my full attention and commitment.
