Agendas are lists of the items to be addressed during the meeting in the order in which they will be addressed. They are arranged to start with the call to order and end with the adjournment of the meeting. The agenda consists of a specific item of business that needs to be discussed or decided upon in order to move forward.

How do you make an event agenda?

This article will show you how to write an agenda for an event in 8 easy steps:
  1. Decide Your Goal Early - By determining your event goal early on, you'll be able to determine your invited guests and expand your agenda.
  2. Research Guest Speakers - Guest speakers provide your guests with knowledge, information and personal stories while motivating them. Having determined your goal, you can begin looking for the perfect guest speaker.
  3. Get Your Agenda Set in Stone - Every event will have a target audience, and once your agenda is finalized, you will be able to figure out who to invite.
  4. Do Not Overstuff The Agenda - You may wish to discuss several topics throughout your event, but do not overdo it! Overcrowding your agenda may prevent you from covering all the topics!
  5. Make Sure To Include Times - When you create an agenda, make sure to include the times of each session. In addition to breaks and meals, you can take time for relaxation.
  6. Ask Participants What They Want - In order to align your agenda with audience needs, ask your audience what they want during your event!
  7. Make a list of the questions you would like to ask at your event - Questions play an important role in your event! This allows your guests to gain more knowledge and get clarification on any topics they might not understand!
  8. Identify Each Task's Purpose - After listing each task, your audience will know what's being discussed! The purpose of each task can be explained in greater detail by adding a small blurb.
