This letter must be drafted with keen care since it is a guarantor for the character of a person. There are mentioned some guidelines which must be followed while writing a character letter:

  1. After writing the necessary letter ingredients at the start, start the body by informing the reader about your relationship with the candidate.
  2. Explain how you met the candidate. Academic organizations mention the year and class in which the candidate took the admission.
  3. Also, mention the tenure, which means for how long you have been known to the person you are referring to.
  4. Explain the true nature of the candidate by providing relevant examples that compliment your words. Mention the positive qualities of the candidate.
  5. A character letter must be closed with a recommendation line, so it is compulsory for you to do it as well.
