Find an inspiring job application letter sample, and half of your work is already done. When you apply for a job as a Document Management Specialist, it is common to provide a basic letter and/or resume that states why you are the right person for the job.

How to write an employment application letter for a Document Management Specialist job position?

Try to distinguish yourself in favor of the skills they are looking for. Make sure to emphasize those skills to increase the chance of getting the job. Therefore, we recommend to check a few good job application letters and see what you can learn from them. If you include the following four basic components in your job application cover letter the right way, you will be taken seriously by the receiver(s), because it is convenient for the reader to read your letter.

Introduction cover letter

In the introduction of the letter, mention the job title and where you found the vacancy. For example, where you find the job application: the name of the newspaper where the advertisement appeared and the date when it was printed.

Body cover letter

The body includes basic and relevant information about yourself. Although you might include this in your CV, it’s still recommended to highlight those skills that are most relevant for the employer. Provide your name, address, and phone number of two people who will recommend you to the potential employer (references). It is best if one of these is a personal referee and one is a work referee.

Closing cover letter

In the final paragraph, you need to summarize the purpose of your letter again and suggest a suitable course of action to follow. Do not indent the paragraphs. But instead, leave an empty line between each paragraph. Thank the reader for the opportunity. State the times when you will be available for an interview. Put the right salutation such as, “Sincerely,” “Best regards” or “Thank you for your consideration.”  Close the letter without indentation, leaving three or four lines for your signature between the closing and your typed name and signature.

This is an example of a job application letter that could be sent, with or without a CV. If you choose to send a letter without a CV, then make sure the structure or format of your letter contains the latest job experience, education for the last 5 years. If you are a fresher, it's not a problem for this position. You can use the following content:

  • Dear sir, madam,
